Rally In Support Of Staff Unions At Sussex County Community College
Join your fellow union members on February 20th from 1 pm to 3 pm for a rally in support of the Sussex County Community College Professional Staff Federation (Local #6374) and Support Staff Federation (Local #6375). This rally is an important step towards placing increased pressure on the administration of Sussex County Community College. For over two years, the College has taken a flagrantly anti-union stance against both unions, including a decertification attempt that was overwhelmingly defeated by union members. Furthermore, the College has been dragging-out bargaining sessions since the two unions were first certified in 2006.
Sussex County Community College has been wasting hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to fight against our union instead of settling a fair contract at far less cost. It’s time to hold them accountable. We need your support on February 20th. Our strength is in our numbers. Please join us.
