Who is the Union of Rutgers Administrators?

The Union of Rutgers Administrators consists of Administrative workers who have joined the American Federation of Teachers, the largest union of higher education employees, to form URA—AFT.

As dedicated professionals, we are building a strong, democratic organization to protect our rights and demand the respect we deserve at Rutgers University.

Our peers at NJ State colleges are already AFT affiliates. The Rutgers faculty union is an AFT affiliate. Uniting with more than 35,000 professional workers in New Jersey and more than 1.3 million nationwide gives our voice tremendous power.
